I seek the balance of peace and adventure in my life and in my artmaking. My paintings often rely on the playfulness of light as it
journeys to and through the landscape. Glimpses of dappled light may reveal a natural jewel slightly hidden from a casual glance. Long shadows cast across the terrain evoke my sense of curiosity. I find my inspiration in the rich aesthetic of our changing landscape. This connectedness with nature is profoundly important and becomes the story I choose to tell in my work.
